# Graphics card problem

so I got a new graphics card today, and I plugged it in. But when I start the computer the screen is all black.  
The card is DDR2, but I can’t figure out if the motherboard supports it. It doesn’t say anything about it. I’ve also tried it on two monitors, one lcd and one crt.
