I found a great essay on why DRM is a bad thing for everyone involved(Joe User, the companies that make it), and why it doesn’t work.

Personally, I totally agree with what this essay is saying. There’s no way you can stop piracy, so the best way to keep the honest user honest is to let them copy things within their rights.
