but if you look at their game, it’s neither offensive, nor beautiful, you might even say it’s pretty cowardly. they have come to the finals and even won the finals playing f*cked up, uninteresting, boring as hell football, and that’s why i don’t think they deserve it.

Its all about tactics, Greece tactics were to defend and counter attack, like others have said, italy and germany have been doing this for years, are you going to call them boring? have you watched the italian league? most all games are basically like that, pass, pass, pass, pass, shoot, score, defend. in the end do whatever wins you the game, it not how fancy you play it’s the result that counts.

look man i dont want to argue it’s your opinion and if your a hater then leave it at that, if Portugal won i would of said good on them, if Portugal werent playing Greece in the final i would of cheered them on. Its over now, Greece have won and the rest is history.

well, basically, portugal isn’t my team, i’m not even close to being portugese. i just love them because them and brasil play the most attractive football, and that’s why i think they should be rewarded. but as in most cases, things don’t always go fair, just as in this case. it’s not that i’m a hater or anything like that, i think it’s magnificent a team like greece has the cup, it’s just against the unwritten rules of football, and that has nothing to do with (how you call it) me being a “bad loser”.

well, as a matter of fact, i do call them sh*tty teams, that’s why i’m so glad they got fried in the first round, and imo that should also have happened to greece. playing defensive and cowardly should be penaltied, offense should be rewarded. and it’s true, the final results count, but in my head, 2004 will be the year portugal won the european cup, and i’m sure a lot of people think that way. nevertheless i’m happy for you

in conclusion, i also blame scolari for their loss, if he put nuno gomes in from the beginning, instead of pauleta (who sucked all of their games), and rui costa from the beginning instead of deco, i’m sure they’d be having the cup right now
