Hey hey - lurker and now registered first poster!

I’m working on a project for my Flash class @ school and have run into a problem that has my prof and I both stumped -

I have scroll bars attached to text boxes in different frames - all instanced individually and the scroll bars are targeted to those instances - yet in some frames, this exact set up won’t work, while in others it does. So, I copied the layer that worked, changed the copy in the text box, renamed some instances and it STILL didn’t work! :grrrrrrrr:

Has anyone else had similar problems -

(and if this is a common issue w/ MX, I’m sorry for the dup question - I’m in a little rush and couldn’t do a thorough search ; )
- with scroll bars?

Thanks in advance for any help/comments!
