# Guess the Number Game with Timer

Hello all, intermediate Flash user here. I’m using Flash CS4 in AS2 to create a branded guess the number game for a class. My countdown timer isn’t showing up, though I followed a good tutorial. Also, I need to display text that tells the user that his or her guess is too high or too low. I came up with script for these features but it isn’t working so far.

It may be that the submit button, which is a graphic of a toybox, isn’t even working. In other words, the user’s guess may not even be submitting. However, everything seems to be as it should, so I just don’t know what the problem is.

If anyone could have a look at my flash file and try to see what the trouble is, I would appreciate it IMMENSELY. Thank you and I hope I included adequate information.
