# Guess who is on Vista?

ME! :hugegrin: Long story short, I wanted to try out Vista so I installed it on my desktop. I realized I need a video card that has DirectX 9, so I went out and bought the 7300GT. After installing it, I found out the soundcard blew off. And now Vista barely recognizes the onboard video card (about 1 in 20 times, the boot loader for xp/vista shows up). Then I went out and bought a quad-core machine with a 24" monitor. Woot! 😃

So anything I should know? Cool things, fun things, things not to touch… etc. I think I pretty much know XP inside out as a user, so whatever Vista has that XP has, I probably know already.
