# Guestbook message does not autoclear

Hi,  
I’ve been trying out the guestbook tutorial in kirupa and I am now facing the problem of adding in a message successfully but when clicked on the add message button again, the message that I have just sent through is still stuck in the fields until I manually clear it away. Is there something that I have missed out in setting? :-/ Please advise.
