In case you have not yet had a chance to see some of the screenshots concerning Half Life 2, Gamespot has a good collection of them:

The game looks really nice. It definitely beats Tactical Ops based on the UT1 engine 😃

half life to is going to own !!! the movies that i have seen are absolutley amazing !!!
i heard something about the source code and it not being real or something but eh i didn’t pay any attention (as per usual)

anyone know what they are trying to accomplish with the DirectX 8.1 to DirectX 9 shaders comparison? I think 8.1 actually looks better. A lot of whats under the water seems too bright in 9.
