Yeah I just looked at trainstation too, excellent indeed, but I wanted to see some action ! 😃
BTW, is it my slow comp or is the framerate of the movie low ?

they worked smoothly for me 🙂
the graphics seem somewhat not big a deal to me…my bro says the in-game models look like those in FF:Spirits Within, but i dont think so. also, the texturing seems like most games these days…the delay in the release seems to have let other games catch up. It definately cant compare to FFVII: Advent Child, though 😉

Haha, that was awesome… I’d expect it to be a little longer for 167 meg though, but hey, I can’t complain…
I’m itchin’ to get my hands on it…It all seems so interactive and…I dunno…like you can do anything 🙂 Like throwing back that grenade and the boxes with that magnetic thing, climbing in that crane and lifting those containers and such… It’s awesome :thumb:

I think the graphics are pretty impressive looking, personally. And you can’t really compare it to FF:AC, which is a pre-rendered movie, where they spend exactly 0 time worrying about things like the \*A.I.[/] or even _gameplay_.
Why? Because it’s a movie. Still, they both look awesome.

yep, that’s true. i’m not expecting half-life 2 to be that good…i’m just thinking that a game with that kind of graphics would be a real breakthrough 😉
the gun models in hl2 still look abit unrealistic, though. i think they look too nice :huh:

The video is fairly high res., so the video being 164 is reasonable. I really like how you can throw things also. Controlling the magnet/crane seems really cool! :inc:

Haha. The best preview you can get is playing CS: Source though… and it rules! 😃
The most awesome feature I’ve seen is in the 500mb QT movie where he picks up the grenade the Combine throw at him and launches it back through the air:P

Do you by any chance happen to have a link for the 500MB QT video? I have a strange fascination with actually watching videos/replays of games more so than actually playing them :cons:

well i managed to get my hand on the leaked version at a lan party a few months back and oh man the words to describe this game. Its going to be the ultimate game…Graphics are amazing and it runs well on my computer (decent) the physics system is unbeatable. its so much fun knocking things over and welding things together and throwing things through the air…oh man the rocket launcher is like WOAH…well since I was in command lines i could basically fly so I would go all the way across the level aimed at one point shoot race the rocket back to the spot and get a nice view of the creatures splattering everywhere. what else…ya it was fun and this was the leak…
this will be the 3rd game ive actually bought thats how much anticipation i have for it…its gotta be good for me to buy it…
