# Having problems with tool tips

Hi there,

it’s been a while since I’ve come here, nice to be back. I’m currently putting together my portfolio and decided to use flash for the job. I started off well but have come up against the following problem:

I want to put tool tips on the thumbnails and got my head around to do this on static objects but the actionscript I’m using to do this([http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/captions2.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/captions2.htm)) is conflicting with the elastic motion script i’m using for the thumbnail motion.

My head hurts, can anybody help?

That is a bit odd - I’m re-attaching your FLA, one example of a button that doesn’t work (not sure why) and more importantly, one example of a button that does. You should be able to reproduce your results accordingly…

This works!!

Load external swf’s on MouseOver (3K each).

Sorry for the lack of writing, its late here in Scotland. Look at the AS, its simple to work out. Hope this helps!
