# Having Trouble with the Countdown Tutorial

Hello there. I’ve been following the countdown tutorial on [kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com), and the first part of it seems to work just fine, I have the numbers movieclip and the counter movieclip, but once I get to the actionscript part It doesn’t seem to have any impact on the movie.
