# Heeeelp! How do you do the line draw thing?

I am trying to achieve the effect of Flash “drawing” a given shape or path. Seems like it would be pretty easy, but I have looked ALL OVER, and the only tutorial I’ve found is  
[http://actionscript-toolbox.com/shapeDefinedMC.php](http://actionscript-toolbox.com/shapeDefinedMC.php) - But this is incredibly complicated… I have seen this done a lot on other sites. Does anyone get this and can clue me in on an easier way than the above tutorial?
