# Height problem

Ok guys… I always have trouble with this and hopefully I won’t anymore.  
So I have this layout and the left bar is supposed to go allllll the way down to 100%. That isn’t working. Another thing… in IE it looks bad. Can you guys tell me how to fix these problems? I’ve tried so many things… … :
