Im busy creating an application in Flash and I need to load variables into textBoxes using a PHP script.

My PHP script is as follows:

> ```
> $photos = "select * from photos_saved where username = '$_GET[user]' ";
>
> ```

$get\_photos\_res = mysql\_query($photos) or die(mysql\_error());

$pic1 = mysql\_result($get\_photos\_res,0, ‘photo1’);
$pic2 = mysql\_result($get\_photos\_res,0, ‘photo2’);
$pic3 = mysql\_result($get\_photos\_res,0, ‘photo3’);

print “pic\_1=$pic1&pic\_2=$pic2&pic\_3=$pic3&”;
Now obviously the Text boxes that are inside my flash document are “pic\_1”, “pic\_2” and “pic\_3”.

The problem Im having is that the GET doesn’t seem to work. If I change the _$\_GET[user]_ to an actual name it works. Why is this?

Is this something Im doing wrong?? I would really appreciate some help or tips? Im going mad with this…hahaha ![](http://forum.kirupa.com/uploads/kirupa/3605/6b0ea229928253da.gif) ![](http://forum.kirupa.com/uploads/kirupa/3605/6b0ea229928253da.gif)
