# Help a noob with Flex/Air/Flash Builder?

I am trying to learn how to embed fonts using the [Embed(source=…)] syntax, and I’m trying to follow [this](http://www.michaelfretz.com/2010/01/12/font-embedding-in-actionscript-projects/) tutorial.

When I get to the part where I get the “Flex SDK Required” dialog (upon testing in the Flash IDE), everything falls apart for me. I can go get the Flex SDK, but then I don’t understand how to “install” it. I’m just generally very confused about whether I need the Flex Builder (I’ve seen somewhere that it’s now Flash Builder), what version, etc.

Basically I’m just lost. The descriptions I’ve found online typically assume a higher level of understanding than I possess.

Would anyone be able to describe, or point me to, a very simple and exhaustive sequence of steps I need to follow to get from having ONLY Flash on my PC to being able to use this process for font embedding?
