# Help.. Adding sound effects to an AS based mc button

Hi, I’m an AS beginner here. I’ve created a menu of complex button by following this tutorial [http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/button\_effect.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/button_effect.htm)

As you can see the mc is controlled by scripts so it acts as a button. I want to add sounds to rollover and press events but I don’t know how. I’ve tried searching the forum but only found some codes to be used with buttons. Please help.
