# HELP!asap(prove me right please!)

can you have a button within a button (which is say in a movie clip) in flash 5?  
and if so to get the actions to work am I right in thinking that you have to have a \_root. command?

Not sure I understand this, why would you want to put a button within a button, can’t see that would work.  
If you put a button in an mc, yes you would need to path it correctly, if the button was controlling something on the \_root. then that is how you should address it
