THEN, ahmed and playmarz can go nuts with some programming, maybe use circles or something as characters, because… then ppl can just add their characters when they’re done =)
So… finish some blocks first… that’s the 1st priority!!

David… It’s not a bad idea… But for a whole community like that? I dunno… The ai coding might bog down the whole things… AI coding can be lengthy at times… Just look at my ai for a single monster in PAc Mac… whooosh… hehe…

playamarz I agree… my thought was not realistic enough. It’s a good idea… but once you get past ten people or so, I think you’re correct in that the ai will be too much of a burden.

hahaha! take your time, i am doing mine in little bits. like today i just did some windows and shine on the windows. not much but enough. now i have to find a pic of phil and put me and him on the side (to show dictator ship). it is going to be pretty cool.
I figured you were just kidding around… But all in all you are right… It would be really cool just watching them do things…
The realistic weather effects… Yeah… A bit farfetched… But I know ways to do it tastefully and only a little bit of coding would result from it. But you’re right again… We should leave that as a cool feature added at a later time…

maybe a day/night engen according to the user’s clock on the pc…it can be done in AS i know that, but i dont know how…
Well It’s easy for a day night engine… CHeck this out…
Create a movie clip that covers the entire area and moves along wiht your player… When night gets close… Add a certain level of transparency to a gray tone and it would change everything to look like it was dark outside…
Cool?
And then… Each tile would have there own day and night looks…

I think we should incorporate a way of buying things for your own apartment though… Kind-a like… Everytime you help someone and it works out very well you get a certain number of points to add on to your buying system…
As for the weather system… We could do it two ways… Just have it snow… And not lay anywhere… Or set up seperater images for the different weather patterns then…
