# Help Building Text editor in AS3

Hi All,

I am a novice programmer and trying to learn AS3. I want to build a simple text editor in flash as3, with 4 buttons Bold, Underline, Italic and font size.

Can you guys give me the pseudo code , what exactly to hunt for in help and how to i start?
