# HELP burning CD's

i’ve downloaded a cdi file which i need to burn onto a cd. It will allow me to play japanese games on my pal system.

the file instructions were “To use Utopia with homebrew… Burn an unscrambled binary (it must be named 1st\_read.bin) on a blank CD in Mode-1. Boot up Utopia then swap in the mode-1 CD.”

what does this mean? and also how do i burn the program so that it loads up when i put it (i.e so its not just a cdi file on the cd that does nothing).
