Hi everyone.I just got into MX flash and was shown this site by a friend.Im trying to make my own site and have looked at some of the sites others have made and posted.I wanted to know if there was a step by step tutorial on how to create a full flash site.Or if anyone knew of a good place to go to show me how to get started from the ground up.You can AIM me @ manicdeath69.Or e-mail me at [partyboymanic@yahoo.com.So](mailto:partyboymanic@yahoo.com.So) far this site has given me a lot of ideas but I just need help putting them all together.:skull: ---

Ok after trying to create this all day I came to the conclusion that flash MX if very very hard.And although this site has some great tutorials on how to make things in flah MX it dosnt really show how to put them together Ive been working on that flash MX full webpage for a while and now I know what to do but where do I get started making my own webpage.Do I start with an intro or the page how to I put it all together.Im lost in a sea of action script and I dont have a boat.If you can help please do.All Im really looking for is a tutorial to tell me how to build a fairly good looking site from the ground up.Thanks for all the help 🙂 ---

Well, the tutorials are there to teach you how, so you understand the in’s & out’s of what you want to do… The content & layout & design of the website is up to you. No one can tell you what you want it to look like or what the page is about. Use your own creativity with the tutorials, and you’ll find yourself moving forwards again. Cheers! FW ---

Im good with the design part I have tons of ideas but I just have no idea where to start thats the problem ---

electrongeek I was looking at ur website and its very kool I only want like half of that and the ideas I have I think are pretty good but Flash MX is killing me.I can now safely say Flash MX killed my inner child in one day of trying to even simply start a website intro. ---

Manic Death, I did not put my site together over night. What you’re looking at now is version 3 which means I went through a lot of trial and error to get it the way it is now. You feeling overwhelmed is perfectly normal, flash isn’t something you can just learn in an a day or so, it takes months. When I first started with flash, I spent countless hours in front of the comp with a clueless look on my face, but I kept at it. Don’t give up, if you don’t get it today, try again tomorrow. Take things one step at a time. Your first step is to get some paper out and plan your work out. You’re probably jumping straight to the computer and trying to design which is why you’re stuck. Just take it easy buddy, you’ll figure it out. 😛 ---

He’s right… I couldn’t get the _nmad_ eagle motion path working, I tried and tried until I took peice by peice apart… (Flash 4 example) ---
