# HELP! dreamweaver MX2004 preview in browser ?s

i just upgraded to DWMX2004 (from MX).  
i’d been playing with it, and started working on a web page.  
then, later i actually “defined a site” and moved the files into that site.

now however, when i attempt to test it locally, it seems to be automaticly connecting to my site, and saving the files… but with wieid extnesions…

when i try to preview my index.htm file… ends up being  
[http://gotchaopen.net/TMPdsvo8ceajq.htm](http://gotchaopen.net/TMPdsvo8ceajq.htm) (which, is live… and others seem to be able to view… Ⓜ )

i’d expect it to be somethign like  
E:\_gotcha\_open[color=#495425]TMPdsvo8ceajq.htm[/color]

fortunatley, it doesnt “seem” to have overwritten any of my actual files… thankgod… but, how do i fix this??

what did i do wrong? i’m not sure how to proceed… i dont want my files to be live, untill i FTP them!! [size=6]help!![/size]
