hello everyone,
dont know much about dreamwever mx, but ive used layers to put together my site.
these layers create div tags in the html.
im trying to get these layers to be in the very center of the browser for whatever resolution the user is running. (the image on the splash page is top left, id like it to be dead center)
anyone know what tags to use for this?
also, on the main page, i would like everything to be in the absolute center, as well as the absolute top.
please help!

thanks!
EDIT: Iâm sorry, i posted this in the wrong section. I meant to post in client side, can a mod move it please?
<BODY>
<TABLE WIDTH=â100%â HEIGHT=â100%â BORDER=â0â><TR align=âcenterâ valign=âmiddleâ><TD>
</TD></TR></TABLE>
</BODY>
better yet⌠look at this: http://www.wpdfd.com/editorial/thebox/deadcentre4.html
people need to look at cssvault more often
Ha ha ha⌠seemâs like a lot of extra work to me
but nice and valid and happy
hey thanks so much to both of you!
vulcan that simple code worked like a charm for my splash page, cheers!
for the main page though, its all div tags, can i stick all that in the table <td> tag?
if you view source on my main page youll see what a mess it is
right now its just pushing every div tag (layer) to the right
another great solution?..maybe?
Ha ha ha what a messâŚ
I dont know of a easy way to centre it so as far as I know you are screwedâŚ
I had a play with it, I attached what I gotâŚ
I would have just posted the html, but it is too many charactersâŚ
HeyâŚ
But all the rollovers are seperate images⌠How can you get them all centred ?
Wait let e guess⌠centre it, and then minus half the image size and the space you want⌠Or add that to the other side.
by having inline divâs within the main div that are centered if I know what youâre saying :huh:
Nope I have no idea what I am on about
I have never used divâs before
css and xhtml beat tables anyday
