# Help needed in Loading a MovieClip

Thanks to everyone who takes the time to help me with my problem!

I have this flash file called presentation.swf and within it is a movieClip called buttons\_mc. Within buttons\_mc I make this call to load a new movie:

\_root.contents\_mc.loadMovie(“[http://localhost/png/assets/flash/fundamental.swf](http://localhost/png/assets/flash/fundamental.swf)”)

As you can see from the above code snippet I’m trying to load it into contents\_mc.

Within fundamental.swf is a preloader:

this.onEnterFrame = function() {  
if(this.getBytes.Loaded() \< this.getBytesTotal()) {  
Total = this.getBytesTotal() / 1000 ;  
Received = this.getBytesLoaded() / 1000;  
Percentage = (Received / Total) \* 100 ;  
\_root.buttons\_mc.loadbar\_mc.gotoAndStop(int(Percentage)) ;  
} else {  
\_root.buttons\_mc.gotoAndPlay(“fund\_open”) ;  
this.onEnterFrame = null ;  
}  
} ;  
stop() ;

Now the call above in the else statement: \_root.buttons\_mc.gotoAndPlay(“fund\_open”) ;

causes a flash graphic to disappear which IDEALLY will reveal the newly loaded movie “fundamental.swf”. However for the life of me I can’t figure out why the movie is never visible.

Any suggestions??
