# HELP. no matter what text isnt clear!\>

Okay thnx for the prvious help.
I have text in a movie. I have embedded the font. the text is dynamic.
it is on “.0” coordinates, the movie is on .0 coordinates. everythin looks crisp in flash but as soon as i publsih it become unclear.!
ive tried everything i know. and been reading up on every text i can find that explains how to keep fonts clear in flash. but in this case its still unclear.
help plz

Fonts have a tendency to get antialiased in Flash, meaning they can get a bit fuzzy on the edges. Since your text is dynamic, you should look into pixel fonts-- which are much more friendly to flash. Here’s a link to check out:

In the case static text starts to look fuzzy, you can try breaking the text apart into basic shapes. Sometimes this helps retain edge sharpness. You can also make the text in something like illustrator and export as a SWF file then import that into flash, which basically yields the same results but can retain a lot of cool features from illustrator.

did you check the Device Fonts option?

if you could provide the .fla, it would be interesting. I love blurry text problems since there hasnt been one I haven’t tackled.
