# Help please! Action-Frames is missing things

I am just learning Flash MX, going by the book ect…  
Once I get to Action-Frames and for example I click browser/network book icon and loadvariables action, it does not give me the URL option above the script pane. It doesn’t give me anything. No perameters.

I thought maybe it was that I was not in normal mode- but then I figured I can’t even find normal or expert mode. It isnt in that little arrow.  
I couldn’t be missing all of these things could I?

Please help, thank you.
