I am revamping an existing website, and we want to make the navigation in flash; while keeping the main body of the site HTML. My concern is that the animation on our site will likely overlap the body content of the site. And thus block, or distort the “underlying” data.

That being said, _finally_, can I make the stage transparent, and using a “floating box” (div), overlay the animation _over_ the content? Will it distort the underlaying content?
((None of the underlaying content should be active links or anything but text and graphics.))

Thanks for any help.
