Well, I know this will sound wierd, but I wrote this script see. Quite a while back. I can’t quite remember what it was for, but I think I was writing it as some sort of item trading system (if you’ve ever played Animal Crossing, think of mail presents). Anyway, I worked on it for a bit I think, and then I tucked it away in my experiments folder, where I place all the work I do that I dont completely understand yet. I think I wrote this mostly with the help of my Actionscript pocket reference, so its probably poorly written (a first draft too I think, and incomplete). Now my problem is, a few days ago, I remembered I had written this little hunk of code, and I figured I’d try and use it. But, unbelievably, I couldnt understand what the heck I wrote. Seriously. No, I didnt steal this or anything, I just cant for the life of me understand what I wrote. I must’ve been in some sort of frenzy (I do that sometimes when Im excited about what I’m writing) It looks like I started commenting (I guess I figured something like this might happen), but even that doesnt make much sense and it only applies to code it looks like I rejected (//'d out). So, if someone doesnt mind, please explain to me what is going on in this code D:

Much appreciated. If you can figure it out, feel free to use it. If I do decide to use it, its not going to be protecting super important info anyway. And if I can figure out what this is, I could always rewrite portions or the whole thing.

```auto
delete codeThatWasHere
trace("Kilroy was here")
```

ConvertToNum function is just a list of values for letters. num is the output for whatever the corresponding value is.

I wonder if this is a first (someone writing code they themselves cannot understand). \>\_\>
