# Help with automatic image panning in AS2 (Flash CS5)

Hi there,

I’m looking for some urgent help with a flash banner ad I’m working on…

Basically, I would like an image to appear and then automatically pan horizontally from left to right, where it will then fade out. Ideally I would like to do this all with code (AS2). I’ve seen a tutorial on interactive image panning (see link below) but would like to know how to achieve the same effect without having to interact with the mouse.
