# HELP with Buttons

Hi kirupaForum,

I am a new user to Flash 8 and I am having trouble with buttons.

I placed an action to one of my buttons…

on(release) {  
gotoAndPlay(“SceneResume,1”);  
}

…but when I preview my movie and I click the button, it only goes back to the beginning of THAT scene and DOES NOT go to the scene I specified.

Your input and help is much appreciated. ~hexgrid :puzzle:
