# Help with buttons

i am trying to make a button to stream a flash movie, i have made the button and have put text on the button saying “stream” ,it works but only if you click outside of the text box area ,if you ckick on the text area the ][ thing comes up ,how do i bypass this

You mean that the text is selectable ? You can set that off, just select the textbox and look at the middle of the property inspector. You’ll see three buttons there, click the first one so it is not activated.
Or, select the textbox and hit CTRL+B twice to break it apart.

??? wha ? you mean the text selector:
break your text apart. Or put it underneath a transparent MC…
