# Help With Illustrator Generated SWF

I have an illustration that I did in Adobe Illustrator CS and I am exporting it as an .swf file. When I import the .swf into Flash 8, I get tons of bitmap files and symbols. The symbols are all made up of 2 layers, one being a mask of the shape and the other a bitmap of the shape. I’m guessing that it is not able to import the gradients. I thought this was correct with these new versions.

Does anyone have some pointers that will help me? Thanks
