# Help with my site. Has "a lot" of layers

Well, I just started a site for one of my friend who writes songs and records them, sort of like a one man band. Anyway here is what I have so far. [http://www.dsilverstein.com/mvtestsite/](http://www.dsilverstein.com/mvtestsite/) , I already have 8 layers is that a lot for a website with only that much? Is there a way for me to make the number smaller. I want to make a mask so that text buttons can come from only on the white menu bar on the left should I just keep doing it in Scene 1 or go to Scene 2. If so whats the code to do this like frame “” goto scene 2?
