# Help with preloading external images

i can’t figure out how to have flash load images before it plays, i have 6 images and i want it to load them and then play so there is no glitching

any help would be great

well i looked at that and im still not figureing anything out.

i don’t know what to do i guess its a learning experance

are you saying you want them preloaded at the beginning of the movie, or each preloaded as a user views them in a gallery-type setting?

i have sevral images wich are going to be used in the movie but they are externailly loaded and if they don’t haev time to load it causes them to glitch in whenever they are done loading, and i can’t figure out how to target a preloader at the loadmovie command.

if i have a regular preloader on frames 1 and 2 then have my movei, well the load movie comand would be on frame 3 so it would preload everythign els then get the loadmovie command.

i just don’t have enough experence with flash to figure out how to link it together.

thanks
