# Help with Radial Buttons?

I am using the Radial Buttons feature for the first time… I have been able to get Flash to do what I want for the most part but I am coming up with one problem I cannot figure out.

I am creating a multiple choice quiz. I am creating a test for the larger scale product. I have 3 radial buttons on 3 frames (all with their own instance name) for a total of 9 radial buttons.

Here is the code I have written:

**//the following 9 functions are referring to the 9 radial buttons, 3 on each frame for 3 frames.**

**//q1a = question 1 answer a**

**q1a.onPress = function() {**  
**trace(“Question 1: Answer A”);**  
**}**

**//q1b = question 1 answer b, etc.**

**q1b.onPress = function() {**  
**trace(“Question 1: Answer B”);**  
**}**  
**q1c.onPress = function() {**  
**trace(“Question 1: Answer C”);**  
**}**  
**q2a.onPress = function() {**  
**trace(“Question 2: Answer A”);**  
**}**  
**q2b.onPress = function() {**  
**trace(“Question 2: Answer B”);**  
**}**  
**q2c.onPress = function() {**  
**trace(“Question 2: Answer C”);**  
**}**  
**q3a.onPress = function() {**  
**trace(“Question 3: Answer A”);**

**stop();**

q1a, q1b, and q1c are on frame 1… q2a, q2b, and q2c are on frame 2, etc.

The radial buttons produce the trace output on the first frame only. I have two rudimentary buttons to move to the prev. and next. frames for testing and when I select a radial button on either frame 2 or 3… I get no trace output.

Any ideas what I might be overlooking or what I might not be aware of?
