# Hey kids, john has a question on the publish settings in mx

hi.
so how do you change the directory that the .html and .swf files are sent to when you publish? i have changed it before, but i can not find it for the life of me.
any help would be appreciated.

I don’t think you can. Wherever the FLA is stored is where the swf and html will be sent to when it’s published.
