# Hi!

Hi! I really apreceate this forum. Have looked for a forum like this a long time.  
I’m a boy from Norway, and i have Flash as a hobby.  
Most of my work is on my page: [http://grooviemovie.fatalt.net](http://grooviemovie.fatalt.net)  
This is a page i made for a few days ago. It is many missing parts yet, and the design are a bit “beta”. But have a look! Specially if you’re from norway! :beam:  
I mostly make movies.

NB! The page is mostly written i Norwegian…

If there are any tips you would like to give me I would be very happy to get som things i maybe could do better. I am not so skilled in pagemaking in Flash as i am in moviemaking.

well on first look…hahah that \*\*\*\* scared me 🙂 ok u need a new preloader for ur homepage…the flash is way to big even do I’m on 1024 x 768 resolution…I say keep the size 780 x 580…out of everything on the site I like the logo and the buttons…if I were u I would take those two elements and give it a second try on homepage 🙂

I only had a quick look coz I couldn’t work out how to turn the frog dude off. You might want to add a kill switch feature for repeat visitors.

As mentioned b4, you should build a pre-loader so that people know how much of the movie is loaded. One with a % should work fine.

I have a FAST connection and it still took a while. The first thing I would do is optimize your images. The easiest way is to just do it within Flash using the library.

Is the pre-loader loading the entire site? If so, it might be a better idea to load only the home page then use the _loadmovie_ command to load the sections that people click. This way you reduce DL times and people only DL what they want to see.

Like I said, I haven’t see it all so that’s all I can comment on for now.
