does anyone know of a program i could use with firefox that hides my IP for free?? i’ve looked for half an hour with no luck. the _switchproxy_ add-on is pretty slow ---

Run it though your server… don’t know how to do it, but know its possible, although though your server they still kinda know its you if they want to investigate the current ip to the URL. ---

Cause clearly they log your IPs and then find your grandmother and tell them what you’ve been up to. Clearly. ---

theres supposed to be some firefox plugin that can hide it. or mask it. or something. i tried it but i couldn’t get it to work ---

Using any proxy will do the trick… sort-of. It’ll show the IP of the proxy; of course, the proxy then knows your IP. Just go into options in FF or IE, and set the proxy address. No need for an application. ---

i dont look @ p0rn…just a…download some stuff (long story). can u give the address to a good proxy? all the ones i tried are too slow. ---

Very few will have any traffic, and as soon as somebody finds one with little traffic, and shares it, it’ll become more congested. 😛 ---

Yeah, I’ve looked for proxies before, and failed. It really takes some time finding a quiet one, that doesn’t do any tracking. 😛 ---
