That’s an http(s)-based proxy; it’s not like something you could put into your browser and direct all traffic through. Basically, with that you just send them your http requests with the url you want, and it’ll return the contents. With a normal proxy, it works differently… I don’t fully understand the difference, but I’m pretty sure it works largely different in design.
Uh, do you need a lot of bandwidth, and are you going to use it a lot? Like, you can use the-cloak (uh, .net, I think, just google it) for limited use.
why exactly do you want to hide your IP so much??? I mean, I’m just going through proxify provides some level of protection. My friend said you can manually change your IP using the Firefox console. However, even if you change your IP, you’re still vunerable to other attacks.
I think it was Confuscious who said "Don’t try to protect yourself from the criminal mastermind, but rather the common theif. "
I’m on a fixed IP as well. I’m allotted about seven IPs that I can use (and, presumably more than one, but I wouldn’t know how), with the one I use (and am given by default if I don’t assign my router one) is the one in my location (70.253.223.102). I think getting more than one is common practice.
@indiasfinest: You could just restart your modem whenever you’re done, and it’ll reconnect (often) renewing your IP (i.e., getting a new one).
lol, what makes you think i am illegaly traficking? seriously im not i just dont want ppl to have my IP. personal reasons, just not illegal lol. its more like a pet peeve
