# Highly typical newbie question

i’ve had problems with web pages getting cut-off on other screens with lower resolution.

what is the best way… from stage size to publish settings, to ensure your page reaches a vast audience, looking as close to your original layout as possible? does your own screen resolution (as the designer) play a part in this?
