I am creating a game with Flash MX have come across a few minor problems. For example, I have it when the bad guy touches the good guy it should -1 from Lifes and gotoAndPlay(“Scene”,1). But instead it does nothing when they touch. It comes up with no errors so my script is either wrong or in the wrong place. One other minor problem as well is I thought I had locked script boxes from the players b4 but can’t remember how to do it, so any info will help thx.
The file I tried to upload was to big and it would not except my compressed file because its a RAR file. ☹ If it would not be a problem I could really use a new script for my MC’s. (Hit test script). Please and thanks.

I have a small side scroller that I made, that has code that will do what you are looking for. It is also too big to upload here, but if you have a place could send it, you are more than welcome to look at/use the code if needs be. I have already given it to 4 or 5 people on hese forums for various problems, and it seems that is has helped.
