# hitArea(); What is the problem!

Hello,

I am going insane trying to figure out what is wrong here.

I defined the hitArea(); and specified the movieclip instane (hitClip.hitArea()😉 but yet it still doesn’t work correctly.

I have attached the fla so you may see. 🙂

not very understandable on what you’re trying to do…can you explain a bit?

theres hitTEST() and hitAREA (a property)

sounds like you might be getting them confused

movieclip.hitTest(movieclip);  
movieclip.hitArea = movieclip;
