# Hitting Return:: AS2

I’m making a notes function where you can type in comments and etc on my website. My problem is that when I want to start a new line and hit enter it goes and opens something completly different OR wipes my movie. Is there a way to basically focus on the textfield and get it to only recognise a return on the textfield as meaning need a new line?

Thanks for any advice.
