# HL2 Problem

So , when i’m at Black Mesa East, and the women has let me in, and she walks for the elevator, and i follow her, she presses the button, and then she just stands doing nothing.
Whats the problem here ? I tried it as well in the start of the game, but then i just loaded the game again, and everything worked out fine.
But that didn’t solve the problem this time.
Hope anybody can help me out here.

Might be just a weird situation, try restarting the level.

Try running up to her and being in different positions. Perhaps you missed the trigger point

restarting the level may be your best bet. I think steam updates your games for you… but just in case, check to see if you have the latest version too.

Yeah, but there’s a level in HL2 called Black Mesa East.

I played that game last night for like 2 hours, it is so amazingly fun. I forgot how fun it was to play it on a stable OS (XP x64 sucks)

Gah, reading this makes me want to play it again…
The most fun I think I’ve ever had in a game is at the end of HL2… when you get the special gravity gun :love:
