# Hover caption tutorial

Please forgive me for posting another question prior to receiving an answer from my previous one, seems like I’m not doing much other than running into roadblocks today:(

I really really like the hover captions tutorial on this site & want to use it with what I am working on. My question is can this type of thing be made into a MC? I want to use it in congunction with my interface. However every time I try to make a seperate clip out of it & put a layer underneath of it, I seem to be ending up with a draggable layer.

If I just open the file & put a layer underneath of it I don’t seem to have any problem?

I am humbled once again by my meager knowledge! I get to thinking I got it all together then WHAM!

Any suggestions?

question, you mean make the whole “stuff that has captions” a MC, not make the caption a MC, right?

Yes—I want to make my entire interface with the working hover captions into a clip as for the caption it is already working & in there.  
Sorry I am not very good at explaining. I’m still relatively new to flash & have only been working in it since Feb.

Anything I know about it I’ve learned by talking to others & trial & error.

Animation I’ve got figured out n/p. Putting it all together & streamling it is an entire different story.

We have been in planning stages for this project for 2 months, I thought I’d got all my buggies figured out.

(I’d just drag this to a spot online if this were going on the web to begin with but it is not an actual website but a training module.  
I am only a lowly subcontractor & not actually employed by this company. I’ve been told no as far as putting their stuff up online & not on a secure server.)
