# How can i preload images (in a gallery) automatically?

How can you expand the XML gallery (from the tutorial here on [kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com)) to automatically load the next image, and the next, etc. while the current picture has loaded (and most likely is being viewed for a moment by the visitor)?
