# How can I tell a movie clip to play inside a swf?

Hi, I have an empty\_MC on my main.swf. In that empty\_MC I’m loading 1.swf.

In 1.swf I have a movie clip on scene 1 called fade\_MC. If I put a button on my main.swf how can I tell fade\_MC to play?

This is what I’m using to load the 1.swf into my main.swf  
empty\_MC.loadMovie(“1.swf”);
