# How did they do this Flash Video Gallery?

Hey All,

I need to design a site with a video gallery and would like to do it very similar to the one at [http://www.psyop.tv/main.php](http://www.psyop.tv/main.php). Any ideas how it is done? Any reason why they would use php? What about the custom border around the movies… how is that done? I’m wondering if these are all more recent capabilities of Flash 8… any input would be great!

Also, how are they getting the movies to load so fast?

These arn’t new features.

You can easily create your own video players:

There video’s are very short, that’s why they are loading quick. They may also be using a flash comm streaming server and the NetStream class.

Here is an example of a site I did, but it’s progressive streaming video. I also added the capability to enlarge the video without interrupting the video.

click “post” in the menu, then “launch video” under Plexi, you’ll be able to enlarge it, view a custom player, and watch a progressive stream.

thanks for the reply and the link… are there any more examples that can demonstrate this a bit more clearly? I’ve been looking but don’t come up with much in regards to what I’m looking for. Thanks!
