# How do I apply a CSS file to an external txt file inside FLASH MX

Using CSS in Flash: I read the tutorial and it doesn’t quite do what I want. I want to pull in an external text file and apply a CSS file to it. How do I do that? Pulling in the external text is easy but its the applying the CSS file that I’m struggling with. Any help would be appreciated, as I’m not a coder and struggle with this kinda stuff.
