Ok, my first ACTUAL .swf file is ready to publish to the web server but what is the best way to detect and redirect site visitors for Flash Player 6. Do I need to set up an index page that has links or is there an automatic way. how do I set something like this up? Yeah I know I could go a-hunting on google but you guys are the best!

Thanks in advance as always!

there’s a tutorial on kirupa [here](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/detection.asp)

or you can use the deployment kit by macromedia [here](http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/player/flash_deployment_readme/)

or by moock [here](http://www.moock.org/webdesign/flash/detection/moockfpi/)

That’s kool!

I also found a plugin editor in my Adobe GoLive HTML editor. However - I will look at each one to see how they handle the .swf class.
